They returned to dance in college where they became a company member of Vassar Repertory Dance Theater from 2016-2019. Mia graduated from Vassar College with a BA in History of Art, and after living abroad post-graduation, they moved to Los Angeles in 2023 to pursue dance professionally. Soon afterward, they joined Diavolo | Architecture in Motion as a company member and have been performing with them since. They were a dancer in the LA Opera’s production of Turandot, and most recently performed in Urban Scuba for Brian Sanders’ JUNK. Mia is known for always traveling and always being in a handstand or on the top of a building.
Mia is extremely passionate about the arts in every medium and in human rights advocacy. They were the Assistant to the Curator at the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center for 3 years, helping research, curate exhibits, archive works, and translate. They worked as a gallery assistant at Le Select/S Une Galerie in Paris, organizing and installing rotating exhibits of local artists. Mia worked as a Child Advocate for undocumented minors in the US, as well as being a responder on the Freedom For Immigrants hotline, the only free phone line for immigrants in ICE detention.
