Hannah 하연 Joo (she/they) is a program manager and event producer supporting independent artists and organizations who center racial justice and feminist practices in the arts. Recent projects include Body As A Crossroads/Marina Magalhães, National BIPOC/BITOC Coalition/Commons, May 19th Project/SEE US UNITE, and Collective Memories, and she is currently on staff at Viver Brasil and Blue13 dance companies. As a dance artist, Hannah has performed with Donna Sternberg & Dancers, BrockusRED, and 고은춤 무용단 Goeun Korean Traditional Dance Company. She received an MA in Asian American studies from UCLA and a BA in dance and anthropology from Swarthmore College.
